I love this time of year. Just waiting for the rounds to hot up and I’m going to bust the Pimm’s and strawberries.
As he isn’t playing this year, here is a fantastic article on darling Rafa. Last year I watched all five hours of the greatest tennis match in history; I don’t think I left the sofa for the whole day.
Picks for this year are very preditably Fed as the clear favourite cos he bloody loves grass…while I would love to back Murray he looked well crap in his first round match so I’ve set the bar low for him. As for the girls Safina seems to up-and-coming nicely but I’m going to go for Serena cos I always enjoy a Williams.
Funny Sharapova is getting such good odds from the bookies - shes been pretty lukewarm at Wimbledon for the last couple of years.
So, go Murray I guess.
